Security Guard
The U.S. Embassy in Apia invites applications from all interested candidates for a full-time Security Guard. The position is responsible for providing security to both the Embassy and the official residence. Guards must have a high level of attention to detail and provide professional service.
To be considered for this role you must have completed secondary school. Experience in the military, police, or private security would be preferred. You will also be fluent in Samoan, have a good working knowledge of English, and be able to work shift work, including working after hours and weekends. This vacancy is open to all interested candidates including U.S. veterans and eligible U.S. citizens.
The salary range is WST$16,180 – WST$21,346 gross per annum (including allowances). All employees of the US Government are required to complete full medical and security background checks.
